Take time to decide-your method, your choice

Overview: One of the things that can create pressure to decide upon a method of contraception when you are at the clinic is time! Short appointments, hard to get appointments - one thing we know is that time is limited! Join Ali Hanbury, an experienced Sex Educator and facilitator, at this drop in session. Ali will show you around different methods of contraception, how they feel, where they go and how they work. Take your time, think about the options, talk about them with other people. No pressure, just information! And maybe a condom demonstration if you want it too!

[Note: Ali is not a medical doctor and is not able to give clinical advice about your health or your method. Instead the information and resources available will help you think about what you may like to talk to your nurse or doctor about in future]

Keywords/content warnings: This session will involve demonstration items of different forms of contraception that you can touch and handle. The discussion around these could involve topics such as injections, needles, medication, genitals, bodily fluids, periods and sexual activities.

Details: This session will run within the 'Who Decides?' zine making workshop space throughout the morning.
